Ovosodo lucerino
the other day about the film's Virzi, Ovosodo precisely, and I liked it even more than the first time. My
increasingly frequent contacts with Livorno increasingly have increased my culture until I understand some passages of the first semi-obscure vision.
I was fascinated also by the call and response chant that two children in the film are when they fight to decide who will to return the ball over beyond a network of recinsione (I think).
The rhyme reads roughly like this:
- Who goes there to throw us!
- Ir gut you ma '!
- Your in Canada!
- My leave it is!
- In the kitchen my heart pa cooks!
- And the friend is to shut up!
I write these lines not having to hand the film, so I go a bit 'at heart, a bit' to "internet" and a bit 'way. Rhymes
such beliefs exist in every culture, but there are cultures that express a Virzi - taking a national scale, if not more - and cultures that do not express it. Lucera At the closest thing to Virzì Germano is Benincasa, author of most agreeable comedies in the vernacular, which, however, I am not ever successfully crossed over with the boundaries of the province (with the exception, perhaps, associations lucerino away) and not for lack of content, but I think I, for the inherent difficulties in understanding the dialect lucerino.
nor even I know, too, that no author lucerino thought to be transmitted to posterity some of these rhymes repartee that both raged at any time, in the childish people of all cultures and, therefore, also of the Lucera.
I believe, therefore, of having to take this responsibility takes honors and charges, and declared himself ready to accept, in wiki style, any comment, consideration, correction and reporting about.
me remains only to state a brief background: it is known that in the early '80s had become established practice in Lucera, among teen-agers from using the phrase as a kind of catchphrase "Hello Duke".
I unknown the origin of this phrase. In the book of Guareschi "A husband in college," at the end of a chapter in the protagonist actually addressed to his wife the best, but I think the weak correlation between the two events, since the main character in the novel, at that time, was lying drunk on the bed after a colossal hangover taken at a reception attended by many nobles.
fact is that in those years, as a form of ridicule, is to truncate a discussion and to silence the other person suddenly, and for many other reasons, it was practice, at one point, saying: "Hello Duke".
In fact, the forms were actually used, more frequently, "CIA Duke" or "Duke and the CIA", or better yet "Ihj, Duke and the CIA." The fertile minds of children
lucerino then led to the construction of the sequence of responses in fulminant and rhymes that can be summarized thus:
- Duke and the CIA!
- and moms bazzooka chu!
- And that sorete m'u zuca!
- E Patete eg Stuka!
There, now the Internet and all Internet users possess this fragment of history, who knows, one day will be part of a Ovosodo lucerino, where this was never realized.
But the important thing is that history is nothing lost, even if it was unnecessary rigmarole démodée eighties. Some time ago the multi
